I finally took my CRD in for the F37,F23, F21, and the one for the after market scan tool recalls. After reading all the problems that have plagued CRD owners on this list and others concerning dealerships I was really apprehensive. Especially when my service advisor (SA) told me that everything would be done in one day. That he had set it up for the one day so they didn't have to supply a loaner I was even more skeptical. So I took it in on Tuesday afternoon and the SA said it would be ready on Wed. At 4:30 Wed I called and asked if it was going to be ready and he said they were doing the flashes and the ball joints as we spoke and it should be ready barring any problems at 6:00. When I hung up from the call all I could thing about was exploding ECUs and the problems folks had with their CRDs not taking the flash. Well, at 5:45 I got a call that the CRD was ready no problems. I went and picked it up and wondered how many codes it would throw when I tested it out. I got it warmed up and then hammered it from a stop sign up to 80 mph and it ran better than it has ever run in the 17K mi that I have had the car. The transmission works better than it ever has and I am a very happy camper. I even have more power than I had before. My Dealer is "Ed Voyles Chrysler Jeep" in Marietta Georgia. Amazing!!!
