I normaly would say NO but being we're a wicked small group & this was kinda last minute, I'll make an exception this time only, he WILL have to sign an official wiaver stating if anything happens ( breakage or other ) we ( L.O.S.T. NE ) WILL NOT be held responsible

Cool. It won't happen again, its just that the skids and hooks are on backorder  . We're not the kind of people who would hold an organization responsible for our own stupidity anyway...its sad that you guys actually have a waiver for that kind of thing  . Besides, our dealership actually honors the jeep warranty to its fullest extent (i.e. offroad abuse is covered  ), so we don't have much to worry about. He also doesn't want to break anything because I'd never let him live it down lol. The 2007 KJs have "grocery bag hooks" on the window sticker, and I give him enough flak for that. Nothing against the KJ though...anyone who buys a KJ for those probally doesn't even know what a KJ is...

Again, thanks alot for letting him along this time. He actually might not even come along, he hurt himself pretty good today while we were helping our neighbor move.

No, it's sad that there exists such a waiver. I mean...if you go out and break somthing, is it the club's fault? No...this sounds like a topic of discussion for lunch later...see ya in a few hours.

The trip today was awesome! Weather was a little slick with the rain/snow, but other than that it was great! We've done the trails before and Ill tell you the rain/snow/ice makes for a whole new ball game!

Here are some pics that I took while on the trails... Some great action shots!

http://picasaweb.google.com/jonathanaub ... IPLOST2007

My favorite pics are the ones with the 3 Jeeps on the hill and the 3 Jeeps on the trails!

Pete, Thanks for another great trip!

Justin, it was great meeting you and your fiance!

See you soon!

roof rack comes off for the winter ONLY just incase we ever see snow this year, it would be a pain to clean the roof & I don't want snow sitting in there till spring, so I take it off for 3-4 months

cool pete,

on a side note....I got my steel in thursday and went to my friends and cut it all, and then friday night I brought it to my other buddy, Sean who tacked it all together and we did a mock up/ hold in place of the sliders and they are looking good.

Sean called me today and said he just finished all the welding! ( all TIG ) so next saturday should be the install day. :P

I cant wait to get back out with you guys again...being sick sucks

What ice? Oh you must be talking about the frozen waterfall that I crawled up 8) . Today was a GREAT time, I just botched the way home and it took forever. It was a tossup for me whether to go down 16 to 95 to 101 to 111 or to go 28 to 4 to 93. We took the latter, and I think that it worked out about even, but it was still a hike. But totally worth it! Gotta do that second trail again sometime! I'm working on getting the pictures up, but I have better than 300 of them and I don't feel like resizing them all. Maybe if someone steps up and would be willing to host full-size (3008x25__) images for me, they could get up sooner  . I have a few really good ones that I'll get up in a little bit, but for now I'm working on the video...this is going to take forever. I got some great pictures of Ullr driving the rubi, I'll put them up in a bit.

Looks like you guys had a ball. Too much silver though  So, whay was the strap out, did someone need it? I know what you mean about the ice though Pete. Here's a link to my first ever wheeling trip (as a passenger though). We did Whiteface 3 days after xmas in '03. Ice was thick enough to walk on, but not enough for a 4000 lb Jeep.

Snowgod, check Picasa by Google. If you have a gmail account, you can set up your hosting there. They give you 250 MB for free. If you need a gmail account, let me know as I still have tons of invites left.

who's Brian ????? :? was there someone there I didn't know about

unless you mean me ( Pete ), lift did realy well for what we did only time I hit skids I was in rut's rather than straddel them & the ice from the lake crossings hittin bottom which everyone had that happen, other than that it did well, come spring will be a true test when the weather is better & the ice & snow is gone

yes Tim I took the strap within the first 5 minutes  tried using a new go around & got myself buried I won't do that again, but we left it out as a " just incase" with all the water crossings if someone should get stuck I'd pull them out or me get pulled out

Wow. Just wow. So uh...when are we going to Whiteface? I'm up for a road trip. How long was the trail to the top of the mountain? Long enough to make for camping at the top so I can get my first jeep mountaintop sunset pictures  . There's nothing like that around here...that I know of. I spotted a dead ski area yesterday that I want to drive up sometime in the near future, but with the bitter cold moving in I'm not so sure how soon it will actually happen...
