I believe the struts in the Rusty's coil lift are OME's, so they are very good.

I can tel you that if you want a great lift that can be built on then the cheeper way would be to go with the Old Man Emu stuff if he still has it
you will spend $280 +shipping at rustys to get 4 coils and the rear shocks all OME then go over to All J's and get some rancho struts for $170 +shipping
or try to get hime to give you credit for the shocks and get just thm from All J's
The rustys kit ordered "a la carte" is high and if you go the route of ordering the 2" coils from him and the Rancho shocks and struts you will spend $560 +ship
wich is more than his lift but cheeper in the long run if the shocks are bad

I know most claim that Rusty's coil lift will give you little more lift then OME's, but besides that I don't see any reason to order it with the shocks. It just seems like too many people have issues with them. I am not knocking Rusty's at all. I ordered OME HD's and their strut plates from them and they shipped very fast and were great to talk to when ordering. And the price for the OME HD's was great. I just can't see why the shocks have not been addressed. I considered ordering the Rusty's coil lift, but to be honest I really didn't want to have to discuss his shocks with them. Which I'm sure would of been the case had I ordered the kit w/o the shocks. Plus I felt safer going with the OME HD's so I decided to piece some things together.
Rusty's is/was selling the OME HD's for $100 per pair. They were $239.50 shipped when I got them several months ago. If you look around you can find Rancho Rsx struts and shocks shipped for well under $300. Pair them together with a "Free" clevis lift and be done with it for under $540. Rusty's lift would be $544.75 shipped to my door with his bad shocks.

OME HD coils front and rear
Front - Rancho struts and Rusty's strut plates
Rear - The new OME N132L shocks and Daystar bumpstops
My total bill is about $600 plus whatever shipping will be from AllJ's for the shocks and bump stops. I could of saved about $100 by eliminating the strut plates (while doing a clevis lift) and going with Rancho shocks, but this is the set-up I wanted. Plus I'm getting the bump stops.
I guess my point is from what I've read here over the past 1 - 2 years, the OME/Rancho set up is well liked. Plus, with the new OME rear shocks it may be even better. If you look around a little to do some shopping, you may be able to put something together that does not have the problems you get with Rusty's lift, while spending just about the same amount of $$$. It just takes a little more time.
I may completely disagree with everything I just wrote if after I install my lift I don't like it, but I highly doubt that will be the case. Too many people on this board speak highly about the OME and Rancho parts. The same can't be said for Rusty's shocks.

Im thinking about adding some 1/2 rear spacers that I already have. The jeep is level but I think I like the rear alittle higher. Ill wait and make sure the front springs are settled fully since Ive had the OME's for awhile.
