Dang Jason, you beat me too it. On a side note, I just checked the extended forecast for Hazelton. There is a chance of snow off and on all week long and temperature will remain low enough that any snow that accumulates probably won't melt. Saturday will only be into the low 30's, so be sure you bundle up guys.

Have fun you guys. I'm riding with DeJa at Rausch Creek on Sat and Sun. If you haven't had enough wheelin' at Paragon on Sat. meet up with us at Rausch on Sun. about 8:30 a.m. You're always welcome!

Thanks and i do know where to meet used to go there every weekend when i lived in Pa! I will have at least one passenger. Do you know what trails that we will be running? and possibly only ! on other xj with me!

I just checked the forecast for Hazelton. Yesterday it was a balmy 12°. Today it’s not expected to get to above freezing. Tomorrow’s weather is calling for snow. Saturday high’s in the mid 20’s. It’s going to be COLD.

I just hope I get to go. I’m sitting in a hotel now waiting on my jeep. It’s over at Jeff Daniels. I brought it up yesterday to have the locker installed and have the front fixed. They have run into a problem and had to order parts. Leaving me stranded some 150 miles from home. :shock:

As soon as I have an update I will let you know. Its 11:00 and I have to check out. But hopefully I can get back on line later and give you an update as soon as I know.

I'm officially out

The jeep just got done today. My buddy test drove and said everything gear-wise is fine.

We still have to plumb the air to the ARB, but that's minor.

Thing is that he was VERY adamant about me not taking it offroad, hitting potholes, or towing a trailer for 500 miles to allow for proper break in.

Well it was a hard decision but I think its best if I set this one out. Believe me I want to go. But I think its best I give the new gears a proper break-in before I do. Too much money was spent building this up and can’t justify premature ware.

I hope those of you who get to go have a great time. I want a full report of the fun I’ll miss. There’s always next month.

So who's going to lead this motley bunch now? I know some of the trails pretty well (trail 25 anyone? :lol:

) But I'm not sure if I know enough to lead an expedition. I guess we'll have to play it by ear. Sorry to hear you're not coming.
