Hi there,

Can anybody advise me which cat back exhaust to install on my kj.
The new performance exhaust should deliver more hp but shouldn't sound too loud.

As soon as the wife lets me I am getting the borla dual exhaust in my opinion it sounds better, looks better, and won't hurt your wallet to bad.

i have the magnaflow, and even secured a lost discount with magnaflowonline.com if that helps...

i can't remember if my post was on the old site or not, but if you call or email them and say you're a member of lost they will give you a discount code... i got mine for $378.11 shipped.

oh and the magnaflow has my wife's seal of approval... she loves the sound and it's only really loud when you want it to be (always gets a laugh when we blow away Japanese vehicle wannabe's at stoplights, the looks on their faces is priceless)

Go with Edelbrock. Quality product and the Tri-Tech coating will never rust out.

I went with the Borla dual. I love the look and sound of it. Plus it made a noticeable performance difference. I got it off ebay from a dealership in Florida for $400 after shipping.

Just FYI guys, Your KJ already has a 2.5" exhaust system. Dont pay for the exhaust system you all ready have. Just buy the muffler and have it install.

I had a flowmaster muffler installed for a complet price of 100 bucks. Any muffler shop should be able to do the same thing for very close to that price. $80-130 for muffler and install. Get what you want but you can save some bucks for other mods if you just have the muffler installed. Hope that helps. later...Clint

Clint is correct as correct can be. I wasn't aware of this until after I got under there and started to install my Borla Dual Exhaust. Don't get me wrong, this is a GREAT exhaust, but if I were to do it again, I probably would have just gotten the new muffler. But between the two, get the borla, it purrrrrsssss.

Take it easy ya'll,

ADAM
