You should cross post in the general section for more exposure. You might get more attention there from someone who might be able to make a difference. I posted on the Paragon forum to show my support. I suggest others do the same.

I think that this is crap. This is the first place that I went when I got the Libby. I wonder if paragon put out a call to outright buy the land if they could get enough in donations to buy all of the land. That would be one big OHV park.

Chris, Paragon staff says that the owners want 30mil for the land :(

That's really not a raisable amount of money without corporate sponsors.

If this were an 80's flick we could save it with a car wash or perhaps putting on a talent show.

These came my way today... one is an article, the other is a petition. Don't know how much good it will do but it's worth looking at. The petition is to asks PCA Corp. to abort it's efforts to break the lease, and asks for the area Chamber of Commerce to get involved because of the impact closing PAP would have on local businesses - namely the hotels and snack shops/gas stations. I doubt PCA will listen, or even read it, but at least folks are making an effort. Too bad there isn't a "do it for the children" or small furry animal angle to exploit.

I can bake cookies for the bakesale, but you want to put someone else out there with the carwash signs... I'd scare them away!

Sorry to hear about this guys. I used to live in MD and completely understand the lack of legal/decent OHV trails in the Mid-Atlantic. All I can say is "move west!" We've got hundreds of thousands of square miles of BLM land that you can drive your Libbys on. They have cracked down on off-roading here in Vegas recently, but I've only got to drive 20 minutes out of town and there's virtually unlimited trails out there. Sorry...no muddin' out here though...no rain.

At a hearing in Luzerne County Court Wednesday afternoon, a judge decided that Paragon violated its lease of the land. He ordered Paragon to be off the property by Monday. Knosp tells Newswatch 16 that he will comply with the judge's order, but plans to appeal.
As Gris stated "Toast" Joe

Paragon forum is calling for all available SUVs to show up in force on Sat for a HUGE shindig.

I have freaking school this weekend too :(

&*#$(@&(^@$#^@

Kyle (PAP Owner) is contacting as much media as is possible and is encouraging others to do the same. He wants as many people as possible to come Saturday for a final wheeling trip and to let the media show how many people will be effected.

freaking school.

I think I am going to do this run vs. Shoe Creek this weekend. If anyone else is going, name a place and we shall meet up.
