This is what it should have looked like from the factory.

Oh, so THAT'S why everyone pounds down their pinch welds!

I really need my RL front bumper...or at least I need to cut the existing bumper and wheel liner out.

When I ordered the tires at Costco, I forgot to tell them that I wanted all 5. So, I called them on the way home and asked them to order 5, but they forgot. So I'll get the spare this week some time.

I have to say that, although I LOVE the way these tires look with the spacers, I didn't expect the impact the spacers would have on rubbing. I mean, I assumed there would be some, but I'm making cool noises just pulling out of my driveway. 8)

I'll get it fixed, though. I'll knock down the pinch weld this week, and I ordered a Rusty's air tube so that I can get rid of the stock airbox, relocate my washer fluid bottle, and cut my bumpers, a la Calvin56's post:
http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... bumper+cut

I figure I may as well, since I've beaten the crap out of my bumper already, and I'll be replacing it with a RL bumper some time in the next few months.

Hey Troy- this looks great. I still need to pound down my pinch welds too - if you want to get together and work on yours and mine, let me know and we can figure something out.

It looks great with the MTRs on there - that's for sure. Just in time for Moab

Oh, you just HAD to bring that up! ;)

Yeah, I've had nothing but Moab on my mind for a few weeks now. I'm starting to annoy people. :D

Do you have a lift on that? I tried reading your sig but, I'm jeep slow. Looks great by the way.

Yeah, don't try to read my sig unless you have some time.

RRO Combo lift - 2.125" Works beautifully for a pre-lowered KJ. If I were lowered, I'd have gotten a Rusty's coil lift or Frankenlift.

Nice looking tires! Now we need to go up American Fork canyon again. Hopefully we won't witness the ATV carnage again.

I guess your spidertrax are what's causing the rub on your pinch weld. I only rub on the front bumper doors with my 245/75's.

Yup, I'm looking forward to it, as soon as it thaws.

No, it's my spacers. The tires rubbed very little before I put them on. No worries--I just need to cut away some useless plastic. 8)
