If your CRD has not been recalled under F37, please post your build date and model year. Trying to find out what the cutoff date is and how many have been overlooked. If you have an 06 that is covered under F37 please post that also (at least until we get a representative sampling of build dates.) Just to be clear, I'm only looking for whether Jeep said the vehicle needs the F37, not whether it has actually been done. Thanks in advance.

I logged onto dealerconnect and looked more closely at the F37 requirements. It applies to both 2005 and 2006 models with a specific cut off date on the MDH which is set at 110214. So 2006 models on the assembly line with a November 02, 2005 at 2:00pm cutoff would also need the F37 applied per DCX.
I had the 18-023-06 TSB applied and could tell that even with that the engine had been de-tuned.

Since, I had a brand new 545RFE with the 18-023-06 applied, outside of the de-tune I'm not getting the F37.

Revised December 2006
Customer Satisfaction Notification F37
Torque Converter and Reprogram ECM/TCM

Effective immediately all repairs on involved vehicles are to be performed
according to this notification. Service Bulletins #21-009-06 and #18-023-06

2005-2006 (KJ) Jeep® Liberty

NOTE: This notification applies only to the above vehicles equipped with a
2.8L diesel engine (“5” in the 8th VIN position) and automatic transmission
(sales code DGQ) built through November 2, 2005 (MDH 110214).

IMPORTANT: Those vehicles that have already had this repair performed, as
determined by our warranty records, have been excluded from this notification.

This thread will get long quick if you are going to post every other post. The cutoff date is actually referenced in the F37 instructions and it supports you're theory. I know in other threads at least a couple of people with build dates prior to the cutoff date have posted that they are not included in the recall. If this thread serves no other purpose, it will consolidate that info. I suspect those guys simply fell through the cracks, but then again, if they are not having problems they may be better off.

Not a problem. Just basking. There had been some concern that I was passing along misinformation. Just pleased in the results. Maybe we can do a poll on whether any egr work has been done since ULSD and how many miles on the ULSD.

Not too sure of the exact location. I put forth the question to my answer man and will get back to you shortly.

So to clarify, those built after 10/05!

Not mis-information, just unsubstantiated information. There is a big difference between being mis-informed and being un-able to substantiate your claim, but propagate that claim as fact.

Hey, don't shoot the messenger. Just passing along what I have been told or read. I forget very little, but can't always back up my claims. You said you didn't believe me and you are certainly entitled. Glad you got the facts though. I had read F37 back a few, just ...............Oh well.
