Does anyone know if this is an option yet?

I am hoping that it will be because I'm not one to let the vehicle do the shifting for me, and despite my newfound affection for a V6 (the biggest motor I have ever owned... coming from a turbocharged 4 cyl) I would love to get a libby, CRD , manual transmission....turbo.... more torque (even though the V6 has plenty for regular driving, I would love a diesel)

... and whats your fuel mileage like?

Thanks!!
-Mark

Not in this country. Perhaps if you moved Down Under.

That stinks. I would even consider getting a newer model libby (in a year or two) to get the manual transmission.

Thanks.

Well, it could happen here. Currently, they are only available abroad.

Why there? We have them here in Europe as well. Plus they even come in LHD.

Long rumored this is US emissions related (difficult to lug an automatic). This could also explain some of the frequent transmission reprogramming issues.

Well, OK then, I could have listed every country where they are available, but only listed one. Go to Jeep.com and click on international and see all the flags. Not all of them have a manual CRD.
