One of the guys I go wheeling just upgraded to Warn 9.5ti and he offered me his two year old Warn M6000 winch for $300 CAD ($250 USD). I was wondering if this seems like a fair price and if the 6000lb winch is big enough for the Liberty?

That would be marginal at best. The KJ is a bit heavier than a TJ, and 8,000 is the minimum recommendation. If it si a good quality one, you may be fine with it though
