I bought it at Home Depot for $1140.00. Then made an attachment to the front hitch for better support.

Does it only attach via. the front hitch, or is there more involved (as I'm sure there must be to keep it stable while plowing). Looks VERY cool! As long as you take it easy and slow, you should not end up damaging your uni-body.

It also attaches on two 1" pins on the bottom. It's really pretty stout. Also I've plowed with all my Cherokees and Comanches and they did alright. But I think this Liberty has a stronger uni-body. Before I got my CRD I was using my wifes 04 Liberty and moved a lot of heavy snow. Spent about 3 hours today plowing parking lots, alleys and driveways. Get a lot of looks from the bigger rigs that can't menuver like my CRD. I love to show off!!

Well, it's been about a year since you first posted this snow plow on your CRD topic and I was wondering if your still going strong with the plow? We had 12" of snow in our driveway yesterday and my wife had to hand shovel it because our tractor with a plow was frozen solid and I'm not much help until I get back on my feet later this year.

If you ever want to sell it, PM me. I have the same front mount hitch set up as you and like how you added that as a connection point for reinforcement.

Yea, we are supposed to get another 17" through tomorrow. We just got back to bare ground in some areas.

Neat, we have a 2 door Yukon with a Snow Way blade, full hydraulic with downpressure. With the amount of snow we get here you need something sturdy, and able to stack snow into 7-8' banks. The last storm we had dumped 45cm of wind packed snow, and completly filled in my lot the way the wind blew. I was 3 hours stacking snow!!! Crazy stuff, drifts were 6-7' high in places.

My CRD could definanlty push it, but I dont think it would be sturdy to take the constant abuse of stacking snow.

Looks like us. If he had parked out in the street, it may have all blown away like on the roof.

WOW.................
You guy's get all the big snows.
Here in the state where nothing is allowed, we just don't get the BIG dumpers as when I was a boy, just after the Civil War.
Mr. BVCRD where is Buena Vista ????
"The Princess" has a cabin out of Idaho Springs at the foot of St. Mary's Glacier. "Ol' 94" the assay office from the "94" Mine. Built in the 1890's.
What a beautiful state you live in....

I like to say in the middle of the state, because we don't count the plains as being part of Colorado. :D We used to live out there so I can say that. We are about 100 miles SW of Denver. Right next to a long string of 14ers. We are at 9000' here, but my wife drives up to 10,200' Leadville daily. It is a different world up there than here. I quit counting when the snowfall got over 100". It is beautifull though. I wish it were 4-5000' lower like up in Montana. Easier to breath. :D

We are 25 miles north of Salida. That is where I bought the CRD. Town and Country is the dealership and if you have any issues while you are out here, they will take care of you. The best dealership I have ever seen. Depends on when you will be out in August. We are planning a trip up the AlCan highway to Alaska this summer and won't be back untill the week before school starts, but if it is later in the month, sounds like a plan. PM me when it gets closer to time. 8) You are going to LOVE your CRD flying over the Mnt. passes.

How much snow can you plow without working your rig too hard? I had 6" on the ground when I left home the Saturday before Christmas and now we have 5 1/2 feet and still snowing. I will be home Friday and think that it is possible that I won't be able to drive up the driveway. :D

I think I need to get a plow as the one on the 4 wheeler won't do quite this much and it seems to snow more and more every year.
