Ive been wanting one of these to come out!
Now the big question is, do I take the chance of voiding the warranty? What happens if Im traveling somewhere and cannot put the old valve train back in?

Keep it in the trunk?
I cannot stand how this thing shifts! Wonder if it will change the shift points any?

I’m with ya buddy.

The Liberty is very sloppy and the Torque Converter doesn‘t help the situation. I think this shift kit and the new TC will give the Liberty a more complete feel regardless your towing needs, off roading adventures, street rod performance, or cruising down the interstate.

Many automotive buyers do not realize that these transmissions have been chosen and designed for super smooth shifts. Smooth is suppose to make you feel like it’s top notch luxurious technology. It’s suppose to make you feel good. But those of us who have been educated in the area of transmission building verses transmission marketing realize that the winner always goes to the luxury class. Kinda like the diesel concept. In America we don’t associate sleekness, luxury, efficiency, and performance with a diesel engine. But it’s simply a stereotype. Diesels, if built right, are a lot more efficient, have a lot more torque, last a whole lot longer, while providing a lot better mileage gains over the gasoline version. For example, my Dodge 6 cylinder, Cummins Diesel, 4X4, Quad Cab gets 24 mpg on the highway running 70 mph. I still have modifications to do that will put me over 26 mpg running 70 mph. Not to mention power, It can pull your house off it’s foundation.

Our transmissions are in the same stereotypical boat. Transmissions are suppose to shift firm which in return provides us with better overall efficiency and longevity. So again, we are dealing with stereotypes. Once you’ve had a shift kit, it’s hard to get back into a factory setup. So this is why many of us seem a little “overly” excited about this new opportunity to complete our Liberty’s the way we want them!
