Sounds like you got the go ahead you just need to send the design to seven wally seven. obviously the club needs to have control over who is doing the distrubuting to ensure the club is be able to raise funds for the site. pixeldzn i see where you are simply asking for the powers to be to give you the go ahead. Something you could do is go and have one made at your local shop for you. then send the design to seven wally seven for the rest of the club. I wouldn't think they would mind that. Sometimes its easier to ask forgivness than permission you know what i mean. Also by haveing the one done you can put that one on your KJ take a pic and show everyone what it looks like. I plan on having an eyebrow across the top of my windshield done for mine. i will have just the one made. But that will allow me to promote the club in my area.

I think it's great that a club member has gone to lengths to make another National Club design sticker choice. However the design should only be submitted to the club's board. The club's board would then produce and sell the stickers if they desired to do so. Just wanted to post my .2cents here for club members who may be confused by how a club and it's member's should work together.

BTW; IMO, no club member should be compensated for offer's and or idea's submitted to the club. Period.

Have I stumbled upon and old argument point? Has someone tried to profit from the club by selling merchandise? I don't understand why this point keeps getting brought up when I have made it clear this was not my intention.

As for submitting the design only to the founders/moderators - I think that's off base. I think everyone should have input as to whether they want it or not, and the founders/moderators can then factor that into thier determination of whether these should be produced.

Please don't continue to make comments about anyone making a profit, because this couln't be farther from the truth. Also, please have faith that there are still people in this world with good intentions. If people with good intentions are ripped to shreds and met with scepticism at every turn, before long there won't be many of us left.

According to clint, (skrracing - read his post above), it happened in the past.

That too would be considered by the Club's board. If they wish to bring it to a vote, so be it. People here have always had a choice to to buy club stickers. I don't see where that would change. The Club's board has various points to consider in making their decision. As for the club's members, they would have a choice in which National sticker they prefer to place on their KJ.

I can only reply to my own thoughts / statements when I write, I was in no way flaming you or your idea's. Members should bring new idea's to any club. But they should not take it upon themselves to profit. Again, no one is claiming that is / was your intention.

OK guys, I want to say that Pixeldzn has come up with a great design and seem to be willing to let us use the design to sell. Thanks man.. great job.

Just to try and help clear up a few things and then we can all move on.

Yes we have had a few in the past tell us they would do what they wanted and did not really care what anyone else thought.

We even had some problems once with one of their club funds but that is in the past and not needed to be reopened. The problems have been solved and is not an issue any more.

The main thing is that everyone here gets a great site and we really work hard to make it better all the time.

We have small funds that come in from the decals, t-shirts and a few donations that folks make and believe me it helps. I really thank all the guys that ordered things and sent in donations...

TX Wally has a great place to get the decals done and he has always done them in the past so we planned for him to keep doing them. The funds from this go right back to having other decals done.

matter of fact..The old site www.kjjeep is going to die soon and Wally and I have talked about the new decal for the LOSTKJS.com.... This might just be a great decal for that.

Pixeldzn...If possible just email the design and a release statement to Wally and he will get her done. sevenwallyseven@aol.com

I would also like to say...you guys would be shocked at some of the things guys want to use the LOST logo on...things that are just wrong...So we try and keep a very positive image and for good reason.

Thanks for everyone understanding why we try and keep this the way it is. And a huge thanks for the design that Pixeldzn has submitted. Seems like he might be a good guy to help with other local club decals.

I am also going to make another post about the local club logos so everyone will be able to see them that might not check the clubs post
Later...Clint

Just so everyone knows...I was emailed about this and was asked if this would be OK...I am going to talk to JJsKJ, skrracing and CalliWally...since I am TxWally and work on getting these done. I like the design and the fact that they are vinyl...can easily be made into different colors...

Maybe you will see them in the very near future...we could even have two sizes ( small ones for the ones of us that aren't "TrailRated" )...lol

I really like Wally's idea as something to compliment my KJ Euro sticker.

Clint....I hope you weren't referring to my idea of a strawberry flavored condom with the LOST logo on it.

Women would say, "Look, the little fella is LOST. I guess he won't find a home tonight."

HAHAHA!!!! JUST KIDDING.

I liked the original design for the graphic because the mountain looks too small in relation in the beefed up (second) pic. Although I like the less lettering in the second design to fit on vinyl. How big are these stickers gonna be? I would like to have one at least 8" in Diameter. I really think it's a cool design and would be happy to contribute to the club for one!

I would buy one as long as it supported the club. I bought extras of the older style just to have them. I kinda like my old cracking KJ sticker though. It looks vintage now that it is falling apart. I guess I could put one of my other ones in its place.

The design going to be produced as 4" decals and sold in groups of 2. They should be available preety soon in the gear section and will be benefiting the club - Wally will be distributing them.

After we get these rolling, we may produce some other sizes and colors.

Also - I have had some interest in a sticker matching my avatar. I will probably be producing these as well and offering them in the for sale section. I will donate to the club from the proceeds.

Try this.......Put Lady Liberty sitting in a Liberty driving off-road with a huge smile on her face....an excellent advertising print ad or commercial. Blasphemous?
