I've actually never posted a picture of the underside of the hood. On Terry's, there is an opening in the bottom of the hood, right above the snorkel from the stock air intake. The top curve of the snorkel has been removed. On mine, the opening has been enlarged to about 4" X 5" which puts it directly above the K&N FIPK. The support bar for the K&N has been bent to move the filter up closer to the opening in the hood. I worked with the heat shield, and adjusted the height of the hood to get a pretty good seal between the heat shield and hood. It really makes a big difference.

The hood is made in 2 pieces, but it is one piece when you get it. It bolts on using the existing hardware.
