if so wathca got and pics of it mounted...please :wink:

I am looking at offroad air brand.

I saw a pic awhile back of a blue Sport with a CO2 tank on it's roof rack. I think it was JJsKJ's? Maybe he'll pipe in.

I have a CO2 Tank.

I bought one off of craigslist and then added a powertank regulator.

I just strap it down to my All J Interior rack when I go offroad and store it in the garage otherwise.

The only thing I don't like is the fact that when using it to fill tires in cold weather, the hose and regulator will freeze up and begin leaking before I can get them all filled. In the summer it works great.

I sell a 10# aluminum alloy CO2 tank with adjustable regulator, guard handle and mounting bracket, I just haven't put it on my site yet. Ted has one and is going to mount it to his AllJ interior rack. If you mount it on it's side like this, you will want to remove it and set it upright for best results. If you don't have a rack in the way, you can mount it upright to the side of the rear cargo area, then you won't have to remove it to use it. For my personal tank, I got a 25ft coiled air hose at Lowes with the little quick releases and nipples and the plain air chuck, instead of getting those fancy coiled hoses with the quick inflate/deflate nozzle. Those deflate nozzles will freeze up and blow the seal, then your out the money on that. A good hose with the HD brass fittings work great. This is a new product for me, so I haven't gotten the pictures made up yet, but I will in the next day or two, along with a writeup on making your own air hose. The adjustable regulator is adjustable up to 150psi, has a 175psi relief valve, and of course the pressure guage. For filling up tires 130psi is about where you want to set it, and around 90psi for power tool operation. You can store it in your jeep at all times, but do not put it in direct sunlight. If it might be exposed to direct sunlight, throw a coat, towel, or something over it. The tank operates best if not angled past 45*. A 10 lb tank will reasonably fill (25) 31" tires.

I have a home built setup that consists of a steel co2 tank and regulator from the Balloon Factory. If you get in touch w/ the Balloon Factory and tell them you are making a co2 tank setup for airing up tires they will know what you are talking about and get you the right regulator. I think I have about $100 into my tank including the mounting bracket. My bracket stays mounted in my XJ and when I take the tank in my KJ I just ratchet strap it to the floor. I will be incorporating a mount into my KJ once I get the All J interior rack mounted. I just recently saw a couple good deals on co2 tank setups on Pirate 4x4.

I just got finished doing my set up about 15 mins ago
I got the tank for way ,very cheep
20# alum
I also know a guy at a welding supply stor wich will help on filling but also helped on a regulator
all you need is a standard Oxy. regutlator for a cutting torch and a nipple and nut for the co2 reg. and the a quick dissco. on the hose end
my set up cost me <$100 inc. co2

I would guess that you could go buy a used alum 10# tank for in the $50 range full and tested
then reg. and fittings and go

I will be looking into buying used tanks on monday for some of the guys around here but I could post up what types of places to call when I get the info

Remember that if you go this route make sure that you do not buy a tank that has not been presure tested in the past 4 years other wise you will need to have this done befor you get it filled and that cost is around $25 + $12 for co2 if you pay more than $50 for the tank you could have gone new

as you requested

here is the guage on the tank

here is an up close of the guage

It is not pretty but the price by far makes up for it
My plan is to not keep the guage on the tank when transporting it but to put it on when needed
I have a good paded carry bag for the guage so I am good there
