Pete, see my thread that started this over in the 4x4 section. The playground was fun and muddy.

Guys, ask the folks doing the spotting at the playground if they were at the NorCal event. If so tell them the guy with the loaded red liberty said high. It'll blow their minds.

If you sign up for the same activities, I am sure we'll meet each other. The town of Morrison will be swamped with the Jeep owners and the bikers that hang out there.

Other's thoughts?

So far it looks like we have the following:

KikensJeep
Gkidesign
TokyoJoe
WestyKJ
Skyjump136

If you do not have a CB you can PM me with a cell phone number and I can coordinate our meeting that way. Otherwise just try channel 13 on the CB when you arrive.

Does anybody want to do lunch afterward?

The event begins at 9am but the first organized event is at 11am. What times are all of you going to get there? I will have three others with me and will probably arrive around 9:30am.

Ch 13 on the CB.....just ask for LOST members.

I saw a local commercial for Camp Jeep On the Road last night. It looks pretty fun. There is also a climbing wall and something called a "quatro bungy jump".

David, we'll try to be there around 9:00am as well.

Jim, glad you can make it!

I guess we're shooting for 9:30. We don't have a particular meeting place but you can try channel 13 on the CB or give my cell a call (# is a couple posts up).

They started setting up around Tuesday. I drive by there to and from work. It actually is across the street from the drag strip. So it is on the east side of C470.

Will call you..don't have CB installed yet.

We have a scout campout Friday night, so probably won't make it to Bandimere until shortly before our first event. I think my parents signed up for some of the events also, they will be in a Silver KJ, so keep an eye open for us and we will do the same.

Mike

See you all tomorrow morning! Headed out to the garage to remove that pesky rear sway bar. I think they have an articulation ramp there and I don't want all the "real" Jeep owneers to look down on my KJ for not flexing to its full potential.

Well,

I was very disappointed with Camp Jeep, Denver. The Jeep Owners course was extremely small and the mud pit was nothing.

It wasn't even 1/4 the size of what they had in California. I had a good time but just bummed out about that part.

I liked the free goodies, but those Jeep antenna balls won't fit my cb antenna. I need to think of something ingenuis to use them for now.

On a positive note though, I am very appreciative that Jeep brought Camp Jeep to Denver. Not as many Cherokee's as I thought there would be. A woman driving a red KJ was giving her KJ a good run on the course.

I was loaded down with 4 adults and the cargo area filled with items so I rubbed quite a bit in the rear on the first set of moguls.

The woman in the red KJ was Roberta (or just Bert for short). She and her boyfriend came over to say hi after you left. Hopefully they check out the site. She wanted to lift and tire after today!

I liked Camp Jeep. It wasn't tough at all, but a great chance to get the LOST name out there. We had a good time! Pics are now posted up in the main forum and under the pictures thread.

And a big "WELCOME!" to Roberta if she comes to check out our site!

We regarded the NorCal event as a chance to show off LOST. Passed out a few biz cards etc. Yeah, except for the mud the rest of the course was nothing.

Hope Roberta joins LOST. A lift party when she gets her lift.

I didn't even think to check here before going to Camp Jeep. I was there Saturday the 24th.

It was my first, and I've never really done much wheeling. So for me, the Owner Playground was big fun, though I would have liked a longer track too. In fact, I would have liked to drive my KJ on their off-road test drive track, where I drove a Rubicon Unlimited. My son really enjoyed the climbing wall and bungee jumping.

I saw a blue Limited (I think) KJ with a "KJJEEPS.COM" sticker in the left-rear window in the Playground, but didn't get to talk to you. I was in my stock red 05 Sport with my son riding shotgun.

Now I'm sure I need a lift and taller tires, factory skids, and a PowerTrax No-Slip.

Did that blue KJ happen to look like this...

http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=2172

That may even be you in the background of the first pic! That's my Jeep. Welcome to the club. You just need some LOST decals now and you'll be all set (in addition to the lift and tires of course).

I was out there too, I saw Skyjump and pretty sure I saw the other people too I just didnt get a chance to talk to anybody since I got there a bit late around 1:30 -freakin work called me in that morning.

My wife and I drove the test KJ on the course, she decided to really test those skid plates on the rocks  hey it held up. By the time I got on the playground the big mudhill was reduced to a mudpile with very little water. It was still fun though and it was nice to see the KJ's having a very respectable showing. I'll be honest I didn't think a stock KJ could do some of the stuff on the offroad course - impressive.
