3rd Annual LOST Fools Run - April 1st, 2007
The Mid-Atlantic / Carolina ""L.O.S.T."" Annual Lost Fools Run. We've been to Paragon now we are going to Uwharrie National Forrest near Troy, NC on opening day. We must be some fools. UNF is not for the faint hearted. The trails will be mostly groomed on opening day, but that doesn't mean they will be friendly to your paint job or rock rails. Regardless, it's a great place to take your Jeep out to stretch those joints.

Meet at 9:00 am at Eldorado Outpost

Most likely going
1 ) jeepinmama
2 ) dirtykj
3 ) kolesy

Maybe going

Can't go (weenies, posers, and other losers)
1 ) LoganSix (mama's boy)
2 ) Redwolf698 (can't get his protection on) ~ you'll have to think about that one
3 ) uvalax236

Communication
Channel 36 CB
Channel 6 FRS (CB preferred)

Where to meet
Eldorado Outpost
http://www.eldoradooutpost.com/
9:00 am

Where to stay
Campground in Uwharrie Arrowhead or on the trail.
The campground may be booked by now.

What you need
If you plan on doing most of the trails at Uwharrie, rails and skid plates are highly recommended.
Tow points front and rear are also highly recommended.
You may also want to bring extra water to wash things off, because it can be either extra muddy or dusty.

Well, I think Uwharrie may be the only option for me on the 1st.
And, I would probably only be there on Sunday.

Yeah, I'm a stick in the mud.
But, busy and low on the green.

It's a possibility... I can't commit due to a potential grandparent visit for Nic that weekend.

Yeah, I typically give in to peer pressure easily don't I??

Yes you do...it's pretty entertaining too!

Chris has been impatient all winter for Uwharrie to open back up - we went right before it closed last season and had a great time.

This year is our 15th season wheeling at UNF!

We're hoping to do a trip somewhere during that week, and take the opportunity to check out waterfalls as well. Which would be closer to Brida Veils then?

Why would you want to get a year pass? Planning to go up there more than 5 times this year?

Here are a few pics from ROF: http://www.rubiconownersforum.com/phpbb ... hp?t=42959
