WHAZ_UP it very quiet on this board lately. You are most likely like me, essentially boring, except when we go off roading!!!

No new subject matter, or do you think we are all talked out at this point?

Or are we all out huntin' wabbit?

Al

:D If you want to talk about something, what do you think about this? I have a cliking kind of noise when I have the A/C on and I am in drive or reverse, looks like the belt tentioner or the A/C compressor went to dealer and of course didn't happen! Been going on since before Rausch Creek plus it's my daily driver. Have a new belt on it. Stopped worrying about it but sure don't want to loose my belt in the middle of a trail! I keep the old one with me! How's the lift going Al? Joe

Try this and see if it stops the noise, unbolt the two tensioner pulleys drowned them in wd 40. after they are good and clean, take the plastic one and install it backwards. The steel one you can't (I have a steel pulley and a plastic pulley on my 2002).

If the noise goes away, its the tensioner. Also check the a/c pulley, I have seen those freeze also. The first time I saw that happen was on a MOPAR!

Al

PS the lift is waiting for parts. The Grand Cherokee front end is on back order and maybe in by next month. The 05 knuckles will be here this week. I willsee if they are truely taller. When we measured them on an 05 they were, but off the Liberty maybe a different story. I also ordered a sub frame. Its nice having connections in the parts room at a major dodge dealer!

Is this true for all 2005's? And in laymans terms, that means when i do lift mine, my ball joints will be at a better angle than the older models???

Yep, that's what it means. If I find out that the knuckles are actually taller and that the axel "hole" has not been relocated, the 2005's will be able to be lifted with out placing undue stress on the upper ball joint.
