I ran into this article and found that in the future there should be lots of diesel cars and SUV to choose from. The article claims diesel will soon be more greener than hybrids.

toyota seems to be missing the boat on this one, the Prius could easily get 20% more mileage with a diesel motor in there. I believe the is a Honda Insight that was modded, subbing in a diesel, that did very well.

A plug-in, diesel hybrid, running on american made fuel (see my moniker)....might just save this country.
