Well, he stilll won't admit responsibility for the errors in his listings and he currently has the listing that caused my problems And two other listings w/ errors. I finally left him neutral feedback warning others to watch out.

Buyer beware!

BTW, The rope I finally received also didn't have the abrasion guard installed on it as shown in his pics. It was not an easy process to get it installed correctly either and the guard is loose on the rope and not attached under the shrink tubing as it appears in the pics.

 I am embarrassed to admit I got caught in the trying to save a buck trap and I normally don't do that. If I could do it over I would go straight to winchline.com and shop there. You do get what you pay for.

The abrasion guard should not be attached to the rope, via the shrink wrap, or anything else. The idea is to move the guard along the rope to anyplace the rope may contact rocks, trees, etc to keep it from fraying. If its attached to the end, it wouldn't do much good IMHO.

BTW, sorry you had issues with the seller. I had a good experience so I recommended him.
