all this talk about removing and reinstalling spark plugs but no mention of a dab of high temp anti seize (sp?) to prevent them from sticking and to help avoid damage to threads the next time

I have done this several times in the past and have never had a problem after
also keep in mind that the block and plugs are 2 different metals so that can also cause problems

Hope someone finds this usefull
Jason
depends, some engines its a serious no no to use anti sieze unless you want holes in your hood. guys? is this always a good idea or are there bad experiences with antisieze in kjs?

I used a 12" extension, took off the coolant reservoir, and one u-jointed plug socket. way easier than it was on my 5.0s!

I had it done in maybe 30 minutes (and FAR less cussing than changing the plugs in my buddy's 3.4L DOHC Lumina). I took NGK's out...now...who in the HELL puts NGK's in a Chrysler? please tell me those weren't factory, because I bought mine with 50k on it and just changed 'em at 80k...

Also-does anybody know if the boots on the coils are replaceable, because i still have kind of a rough idle

Had to move remove the top mounting bolts and small hose from the radiator overflow tank and try to turn it away w/o taking off that big hose underneath. Fifth plug came out after that.

Man, I can do my plugs on my 03 and my wifes 04 in just about 20 mins. And that is with out taking off the coolant bottle and hoses. I use 1 long extention shaft for the 4 front plugs and then a swivel shaft for the one that is under the bottle. the other one by the dip stick really is not too much of a problem.

Yep, used.

Did find having air in a can useful to blow the dirt away before removing cap and plugs. Need a longer tube/straw to attach to the nozzle though.

Went to Lowes and dreamed of buying the $150 air compressor, instead, bought the Goodyear 24V Cordless Impact wrench at Pep Boys. Sure made swapping out of the MTR/Moabs to SRA/Reny Stock wheels much quicker.

TJKJ, I looked at Home Depot and Lowes but could not find a 28 V Cordless Impact Wrench like you have...in fact, didn't see any tools that were 28V. Special purchase?

Yup, I bought me a craftsman electric impact wrench and love it.. Makes changing tires so must easier, just be sure you torque the lugs down by hand. I put them on by hand then torque them down some with the impact, but I always check them with the lug wrench. :)

Perhaps it was a lesson finally learned with techs complaining about it enough.

The coolant tank is nice but I'd need that tranny dipstick  .

Weird. I would've figured either Bosch or Champions would've come factory. Maybe I shoulda gone NGK instead of the Chumpions I put in there:P

And I've thought about swapping to the 05-7 coolant tank myself, to make this easier in the future, since I plan on havin this thing till it his 300k miles (then giving it to my firstborn and pawning off all the issues i'd ignored on them, haHA!)
