My rear hatch will not open the glass electric catch, I can hear the switch clicking. It just started this. It works ok with the keyless remote. I was wondering if someone with a manual could trace back the wiring on the switch for manual release. Thanks.

Mine is doing the same thing intermittently. I'm pretty sure the switch in the rear door handle is getting water in it sometimes, but of course, it doesn't do it at the dealer.

Pull the rear door handle out slowly and see if helps to release the glass in yours, it does on mine sometimes.

I don't have the manual, but it did the same thing to me. I was about to take it in when someone (me), left a flashlight plugged into the rear lighter/power outlet. That killed the battery. After jumping the battery and driving home, it has worked fine. I don't know how or why but that was 3 months ago.

This was happening on mine, just before the battery was replaced on warranty at 7800 kms. Seemed like there was a correlation between the latch not working, and the battery being dead in the am. Seems to be all god now, but we'll see.

Based on what I am hearing, I think the switch sends a signal to the computer, and the computer then sends a signal to unlock the latch. Based on that, I may disconnect the battery and let the computer restart. May be a software glitch. Ill post results.
