Condensation was on the passenger window this morning and I "rolled" it down to wipe it. When I brought it back up, it was all there! Didn't touch it. I had already wiped the driver side, so I couldn't test it.

Could that just be the cold shinking the rubber stripping there? That side is on always parked facing south, could it be sun? Or is it nothing, and my visions of rusting interior door parts just part of the many many paranoid delusions that I live with daily...

ok, so the voices are right. The window seals are letting water into my precious Jeep's doors.

The voices are telling me I should be angry.

I think it's been like that from the begining... At least I don't ever remember my door having the abiltiy to wipe dew from the side glass. Any dew that collects on the glass and isn't evaporated during the day is allowed to drain out the bottom via the rectangular holes in the door. The e-coated sheetmetal resist corrosion much better than previous vehicles so there should be little, if any, worry about the door rusting through.

The only time my window seal ever whipes anything off the window is when there is a couple of inches of snow attached to the side glass.

Well my window seals are ok, but the door seals leak air like crazy, welcome to one of the many joys of jeep ownership. They are what they are, if i wanted a Honda Civic i would have bought one, but no one goes off road in a civiv, its stupid, and somewhere along the way someone would get hurt. likewise no one drives a jeep and expects 45MPG, and window seals that dont leak.
