just came across this video on google..all i do at night now is look up Jeep vids.

Thought it was interesting and haven't seen it on here yet

my question is, maybe i'm not thinking correctly about the 4wd system. How come when I lift a rear tire, that one spins and the other doesn't??

"He probably won't need lockers until he gets to those rocks"

But, I think the "no traction" demo is pretty effective, at least to me.

oh and the reason why when you lift a tire and it spins is because you have open diffs and are giving the car gas, on the liberty one, they really don't give it gas, and let gravity move them.

yes he is absolutely horrible at giving presentations. my pet peeve is "ummm" and "ahhh" when people are speaking publicly.

I just figured in 4wd if the power was transfered to the wheels that have traction...what would be the point of having a locker? The system should do that anyway. I guess they are not using it in the same way we are...climbing hills or going over obsticles which require a bit more gas. I learn as i go i guess

for instance...here i am in 4lo, the rear passenger is spinning and no others are??? you can tell by the water trail around the tire

That looks as if its a newer libby with ESP. in which case my tire spinning in the air has locked up and sent power to the other tire. i dunno.

Where is that video taken? It looks EXACTLY like the summit of Haystack in VT. Any idea?

Aww, you gotta get out there and get tipsy! I must say its a crazy feeling when you have a front tire 3 feet in the air then it drops down.

Kinda makes you want to stick your arm out the window and push off a tree. :D
