New BJ's going bad? That would be terrible.

But that link is to a thread about oil filters. Did I miss something?

I think you missed twice because it's really about fuel filters not oil filters.

I reccomend going to your local dealership and making an appointment in person. Definatly bring your letter since that'll help make your case. By now there should be no reason that they can't get you in.

I went in with no paper and it only took them a day to have all the parts tracked down (actually think they were waiting for the part for my tranny recal, not the ball joint).

Good luck

Justin

Well, I had my LBJ recall performed. I did not receive a letter from DC about the recall (nor did a co-worker for her '03), but I waited and waited. I did call to set an appointment. When I dropped it off my LibRen the service rep assured me that an alignment was not needed and would not be done. It wasn't done and now I see some feathering and shredding... I had a service manual but forgot to check it before I dropped it off for the recall. I checked the 2004-2005 Liberty Service Manual today for any mention and sure enough....The last step in the replacement proces is "(10) Perform a wheel alignment" ...

They will hear from me today!

Has anyone else been told they did not need an alignment after the LBJ recall?

Chris

I asked about the alignment when they did mine. They said the same thing, that an alignment wasn't needed. I have put on a few thousand kms since then, including a couple of longish highway trips, and it hasn't been an issue.
