For those that are camping Friday night at Brandywine Campground, We will leave the camp ground at about 9am Saturday morning and head up to the lake at the trail head about 15 minutes away. That should put us there well ahead of the main convoy of libertys, who will be meeting at 9 am at Sheetz in Harrisonburg. We can mill around admiring each others jeeps till they arrive. There are no stores or resturaunts between the campground and the trail so bring whatever you will need for Saturday with you on Friday. I will be arriving at the campground about dinner time Friday evening. I will post a LOST flyer on the bulliten board with my campsite number so ya'll can find me,, if'n you want to find me :D .
Can some one bring a load of firewood for Friday and Saturday nights? There is a small gas station/convenient store beyond the campground in the small town of Brandywine, WV, but I'm sure it'll close up early Friday night. Are we doing anything as a group for lunch on Saturday? Chris, you bringing that grill again?

I don't know. There has been no talk about it, and with such a large group I think it would take to long to cook that many burgers. We could however do steakums, I could throw a lot of them on the grill and they should cook up fast. Maby I will start a poll and find out how many that is coming would like that.

Actually, I was going to suggest we meet up a little earlier in the morning like around 8. Remember, we won't have as much daylight this time. Unless everybody wants to still be on the trails after dark. How late is everybody willing to stay?

I`d definately do a night run but I have to get back Saturday night. I found out that I have to run a major event Sunday (my only available day to run it) so no night or Sunday wheeling for me. :x

I can't remember the exact address but if you search on Sheetz website for locations, it's the one on Rawley Pike. Coming off I-81, head west about a half mile on Rt. 33 and it will be on the right.

As I'm making final plans, I have a couple buddies that want to go with us. One is a nicely lifted Cherokee, and a Ford Exploder. Is it cool that the Ford comes with us? He has a 4" suspension and 3" body lift, and is plenty capable.

They can come too but just let them know in advance that most of the stuff we plan on doing that day is stock friendly so if they are looking for a lot of challenges, they may be dissapointed. We are thinking of trying to squeeze in a second trail after the main run for everybody. It may run into the night a little though. This second trail is much more challenging though and pretty much requires a lift. So if you don't have a lift but want to check out this trail, you might be able to ride along with somebody.

I will be there Friday night, stay in a local motel, wheel all day Saturday and Saturday night(?), and leave early Sunday morning to get home at a decent time. I figured it will be around a six hour drive down for me.

I will be there either with my son, or...???

Al

Hey Al! Which motel will you be staying in? I haven't made any reservations yet and I'm open for suggestions. It's about a 4 hour drive for us, so I'm not sure which night we'll be staying in the motel. I'm sure it's on the board, but which night will be "partry night" at the campsite.

Will there be any runing on Sunday? If so count me in.

Unfortunately, I can't get out of work on Saturday :(

Hello Everyone!

I think I can make it. My Libby is totally stock and I'm a newby at 4-wheeling so if you don't mind a newby tagging along, I'd like to come. Since I missed out on the OBX trip last weekend I'm heading there tomorrow and play in the sand and see how she does. Then I will try the trails. Next Spring I plan to get a lift, a set of BFG A/T KO tires and Mikey Thompson rims but for now I have to settle for stock.

I was at Cass Railroad just inside WV yesterday and the trees have some nice colors to them. It was pretty for the short time the sun was out.
