Hello everyone. Just wanted to get started posting. I am the proud new owner of a 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport. I ordered it from Carmax and had it brought here to ABQ. I had a Rusty's Suspension Lift waiting for it when I picked it up thanks to the advice on these boards. I also ordered and put on a set of Cragar Soft 8's in 16x7. Finally I put on a set of Goodyear MT/R's in 245/75R16 size. Had to do a little trimming even with lift but I had these tires on my Dakota, which I sold to get the Jeep (see below), and loved them! Looking forward to upgrading my first Jeep!

And this is what I sold...

Thanks for the welcome guys! I did love my Dakota and did a lot of wheeling with it. But at over 110k it was starting to have serious issues so I sold it. As far as what I will get next, I am not postive yet. I upgraded to the OME shocks with Rusty's lift so I wont be changing over to Rancho's. These seem to work excellently for me. I would like a Roof Basket but not sure what kind yet.

I would also like to see about upgrading to JeepinAl's Upper Control Arms. I put on four conduit lock nuts on the front to level out the Jeep (I dont like the raked look) and I have ball joint contact at full droop. Will the new A-Arms fix this? How much further out do they go? I would really like to keep it level and not have to remove the lock nuts if I dont have to. Thanks for the info!!

KJ looks great!.

Next for you should be skids if you are gonna take it to the trails around New Mexico or up our way into the Colorado Rockies.

Honestly!

Hi there,jtaylor42....That libby is looking sharpe,so far.As far as Dakotas go,I still have one,but it's 2wheel drive with the v8 and locked rear end.I kept the Dakota so when I want to go wheeling with the liberty,I can just throw it in the bed of the truck and save alot on fuel cost.Did I say that?Keep the mods coming, and take lots of pictures.

Thats funny :D But yeah I had agreed with my wife that if I bought a Jeep instead of the '70 Nova I was looking at that I would be able to get lift, wheels, and tires immediately. I am pretty happy with my decision. But I am still looking for a good deal on a Nova.
