At idle, you shouldn't see any smoke come from the exhaust... maybe a little upon startup, but idling... no.

This is the most you should see coming out of the exhaust, and only when cold...

Thats what the vehicle looks like now(after clearing the crap out of its throat).

This is what the Jeep looked like when I first started it:

How do you know the frame isnt bent? I mean when it hit something with the front tire and then flipped over wouldnt that bent the frame in the front? What are you going to do about the roof?

Notice that there wasnt any impact on the front, only damage caused by the vehicle rolling. Sliding out of control and then whacking a curb will first and formost put stress on suspension components, they are the first weak link before any suspension is attached to the frame rail, the second weak link would be any pin connections such as nuts and bolts or balljoints.

Basically what it comes down to is this accident didnt have any impact that would have impacted the framerail. I was a little surprised that there wasnt any suspension damage, everything is fine there, however the tire didnt get off so luckly, it still holds air, but it got a nice long strait cut where the edge of the curb caught the tire, its a nice clean cut too im thinking that edge might hace caught something metallic like a guard rail, which would also explain the damage on the fender and bumper cover which is a little excessive for a simple curb and roll.

I will be welding in a new roof panel and a new 1/4 panel as well as replacing the driver door skin, mirror, fender, hood, and bumper cover. Then throwing on a new coat of paint.

Even something like this:
http://klode.com/Kws/Napplications/GetP ... tion=Local

Doesnt even appear to have any frame damage(though I really need to see the vehicle in person before I can make that call 100%), yes the majority of the front end is torn off, but if you note the framerails that support all that plastic jazz have not been comprimised. Generally after you have done this for awhile you can pickout what has framerail or unibody damage pretty quick.

Ever pour engine oil onto a filter?

See the white part of the filter? Thats what most of the filter looked like before the oil ran onto it, the paper of the filter acted like paper towels and obsorbed alot of oil which spread out evenly coating the whole thing.

Well that is the original Mopar air filter. Unless they bought ONLY dealer air filters, I'd say there is a possibility that they never changed it. :)

But yeah, that thing is coated in oil!

the red light on the bottom is the light that blinks when you lock your doors for the "security system", not the glow plug light. the glow plug light looks like a curly fry :D
