It's not lame. As long as you like it, enjoy it. Slowly work on the wife for the mods. Show her the cool looks of a mod'd KJ and what it could be with them.

Congrats on joining the KJ family.

are those tire covers free now? when i got mine, those were $50. they threw in one that had Jeep and the dealer name on it. fortunately a little MEK took their ad right off.

dont forget to change your oil and filter at 500, 1000, and 3000, it'll run a good long time

She hated what I did to her last one:

2" BB with exhaust intake and swaybars so we got her this one:

She like it a lot more and I'm not aloud to touch it, so I got the Libby for my daily driver.

Oh, and the boy drives this:

Thanks for the welcome.

Well, not really, but we do OK. The yellow neon and the blue jeep are gone, I'm building a black turbo neon in the garage though.

Great looking Jeep family. You should fit in fine around here.
I know what you mean about the "Now if only I could teach him to steer it" comment. I got my niece a yellow Wrangler for Xmas and she got forward and reverse down real good but when whe goes to steer she only turns her head the direction she wants to go and not the steering wheel.

The steering part of the brain must not work until they are older. Funny.

Bulding a 95 neon. Heres some details on it:
