perhaps we should delete all posts going back to the beginning. What do you think Admin? Clean the slate and start over.

We haven't heard a thing from the originator of this post. Most likely scared him off.

Here are some from googling "air razor" and "velocity tuner".These are from other car forums and are not well liked either.

well in all those links, there was what, two guys that said they actually bought one. one said it worked but messed with his O2 sensor, maybe he didnt clear his computer. and the other said it didnt work, but it gave no information about how he drives or how he tested it.

EVERYONE ELSE was just yacking about stuff they have no clue about, they heard that someone heard something from someone, just like here.

Well, I've seen the episode of Myth Busters debunking it, saw a commercial on speed channel (missed the episode) implying they will show it was junk, found a test from Popular Mechanics debunking it, I think I'll take my chances without one.

Another fact I've heard is "there's one born every minute", so extrapolating that out only makes sense that we'd have one here. Actually we have 2 if you count the sway bar avenger.

That's almost crossing the line there....

But as long as we're compairing who's motor is bigger: I have an engineering degree. 4 years in Automotive engineering experience with Chrysler, 3 years as a test engineer and 5 years in the automotive service industry prior to that and I've never, ever heard that this style product has actually done any good. Like I said before - it the product had worked, ALL of the OEM's would be using this to boost their CAFE figures

They did a dyno test in sport compact car a few years back with one of those things and determined that they don't do a thing....

Just my $.02

ok mr degree, why would you chime in, with "ive never, ever heard...."

that would most certainly place you into the category that you were almost offended by.

anyways, like I said before, i gave you the real results from a real before and after test with real, actual air flow manipulating parts installed.

AND i already gave you a real example of the very thing this thread is about being factory installed in at least one type of truck. -im sure tons more in their product line have had the same exact thing. o my bad, im guessing...

so just ignore that one part of what i said (and all the parts that all of you GUESSED about) and concentrate on the FACTS

--this is obviously not the first time i tried to get a point across to people that for some reason feel threatened and need to make up things and band together in their little groups to discredit me.

so quit wasting your precious brain cells on trying to rip on me and get back to the point, with actual data to back it up. instead of what you are actually doing, backing yourself up with the lack of data or information.

peanut butter and jam all over that

amended to say: thanks to DaveKJ02 for the epa link. most of the links are from the 70s and 80s, hopefully there will be something there for everyone to learn. if you find the one related to this link please let the rest of the group know.

Okay once and for all, since you said it was still in your garage, snap a pic and post and all will be well 'ol wise one.And two 10 mile trips with a EVIC reading is not justified proof, you need at least two(more is better) 100+ mile trips over varying road conditions and hard math(I.E. how much physical gas used divided by the actual miles traveled) to get true #'s.

im trying to find a pic of it online. im sure there is a chevy/gmc owner on here somewhere that knows what im talking about.

it looks like a regular computer type fan, about 5 in. in diameter, center couple of inches is blocked off. just stationary inside the intake tube.

Your talking to one that has owned many(and has friends that have owned and still own many),I don't have a clue to what you are talking about.

call one, and have them look at their intake then, the one it was on that i know was whatever the last year they had tbi on a 350. i think its 1989. the intake tube bends to the right 90 degrees towards the fenderwell. most of the tube is about 3.5-4 inches then where it got to that fan thing it expands to about 5 in diameter or so for about 8 inches long i think. not looking at it right now.

you most likely never saw what im talking about unless you took it apart.
