Hey guys just wanting to know who is running what lift and if they like it and how long they have ran the lift for. I figure this poll may help us unlifted guys figure out what lift to purchase. Personally I am going to go with rusty's once my wife and I have our second child in August. After having another pride and joy I get to lift the joy of my life  . Anyway just wondering what everyone else is running for lifts and if the like it or not. Add problems with the lift if there is any. If your lift isn't in the poll state it on your post, and I know there are some guys who piece a lift together and love it but I think I ran out of poll slots. Thanks

Frankenlift. Had to get Al's A-Arms due to spring contact tearing UBJ. Other than that I love it.

Might want to add Daystar - for the CRD's that was it until the new OME springs came out, and other folks are running them too.

I have the following set-up:

Front:
OME HD Springs
Rancho RSX 17505 Struts
Rusty's Strut Plate
Custom 1/4" Clevis Spacer
+ Al's A-Arms and Moog LBJ's

Rear:
OME HD Springs
"The New" - OME N132L Shocks
Daystar Bumpstops

I've had the lift on for a month and a 1/2 and about 450 miles and love the ride. Better then stock for sure. I'm having some slight alignment issues but am having it looked at again shortly, since I think the lift has settled a little since the last alignment attempt. I was not sure if I wanted to lift my KJ because I wanted a good ride and do very little off-roading. I was also worried it would be too high for my wife and kids. Now after adding the lift, I'd do it again witout question. It's an upgrade for sure, even if your KJ is only a daily, on-road driver.

This should be in the Poll Thread.

I'm running the Daystar for the time being and it has done well over the past 33K miles but is limited since it is just a spacer lift.

FYI, there are 10 available slots for a poll but you have to make sure that you add it after you finish typing it (does that make any sense?) Too bad there have already been some votes because now you can't go back and edit it.

I'm running Rusty's KJSS kit. Installed back in May 2004. I'm replacing the rear shocks with the OME's from AllJ Products because the rear shocks are shot and they are driving me crazy. It's just not enough lift for me anymore. I've grown accustomed to it and now it doesn't even look lifted to me.

:D Still looks pretty tall to me. 05 3.7L Ltd, here: I was running Rocky-Road's 2.5" OTT "budget" lift, until about 500 miles ago when the upper ball joints contacted the springs one too many times. Pulled that off and installed Rusty's Springs and struts about 200 miles ago (no I don't recommend driving this long on failing ball joints! and probably blown struts). I kept the Doetsch Tech 8000 shocks on the back. They work alright. The front is about 1000 times better than with RRO's spacer. The back is still pretty stiff but, I am running a pretty stiff shock, hoping to add a TR rear bumper and soften that up some, sometime this summer. So far, I'm loving this setup. Much more than the OTT kit, which I GAVE away! (Ok, actually I got $2 and change, after shipping.) I just couldn't bring myself to charge anyone else for something that I don't think is worth anything. I warned the new owner several times of the possible conflicts (with pictures) so I just hope he uses bumpstops and what-not. Can't believe I paid what I did for that lift. Especially considering where I work: machine shop with a rubber/poly dept above us. Anyway, I'll stop ranting now but, hey, opinions were asked for, correct?

Running combination of OME Heavy Duty coils, Rancho struts/shocks with clevis
My 2 cents.... OME coils are the best!

RRO Budget on, Frankenlift in the box, going on. Don't waste money on "Budget" lift from RRO.

I am in the same situation, waiting for the Frankenlift to come in the mail so I can replace my OTT budget boost. RRO lift isn't too bad but I want a smoother ride and more flex.

Voted Rough Country as that is what I currently have. I have a front Frankenlift on order to replace the front half of the Rough Country lift. The RC lift just bottoms out too much for my liking and actually reduces overall articulation since the tire cannot stuff as much as stock.

That's my for a few more days until my CRD Frankenlift II gets here. Heather said it shipped today. Really didn't have the option of checking two boxes

Which kit has the most lift, the skyJacker or Frankinlift? Which gives the softest ride?

The only way to know that is for someone to have had both. Maybe one or two may have gone from Sky to Frank. I know of nobody that has gone from Frank to any other lift.
