Yeah. There are 4 Torx (T-15 or T-20 I believe) screws that clamp onto the rails. You should use a long handled screw driver to remove them (if you don't remove them completely, they may hang up in the basket and scratch the paint upon removal). The basket should just lift off the rails from there.

Mine would sometimes stick because of the locating pins that keep it in the correct position on the rack, just had to wiggle it a little bit.

I removed mine, but forgot the procedure, although I do remember that there are some Torx bolts up top if you want to take apart the basket when removing it - it makes it MUCH easier to transport and store this way. If you look inside the basket, you can remove those 4 tie-down loop looking bolts as well and you'll find yourself with a nice set of factory provided cross rails. Be VERY careful however if the "loops" seem hard to turn as they are plastic and will break if you apply too much force. My suggestion would be to hit 'em with some WD-40 prior to attempting to turn them. Then they just unscrew. To assist, you can use a long, thin screwdriver through the loops and use it like a lever. These are what I use to support my Thule M.O.A.B. rack and 100+lbs of camping gear. I mount them on the clamps that the factory basket was mounted on.
