They showed up today. These things a freakin' beefy!!! Welds very clean. I'll post a bunch of pics to mark the progress. The only problem is today out at the golf course I shoot a 37 from the tips (I am always at about 42 for 9) and now have been bitten by the golf bug...I wish I had 48 hours in a day!!!

Talk about poor UPS guy. My wife said the guy said, "Can I just set them by the garage door, please?"

Drivers side mocked up.

Passenger side mocke up. The paint is drying as we speak and hope to have them on by Thursday night!!!

Don't know about the golf problem but, I'm ordering my Step Skinks tomorrow. How long did it take for yours to arrive from when you ordered?

Mine will be delivered tomorrow. 6+ weeks from order to delivery. Don't be in a hurry. Marty is VERY busy and is trying feverishly to get caught up with his orders. Well worth the wait though.

Yes, they did take awhile but he was in the middle of bumper hell when I ordered mine. He's a stand up guy and his work is awesome. I am diffently saving some green for a front bumper from him. I don't think he's taking anymore orders till well after Moab but call him to find out for sure.

Dje Ryu: How's Casper? I remember plenty of All Star Baseball tourney's and state track meets there. Born and raised in Powell. Miss the area sorely. Of course the central area is lot different looking than the Big Horn Basin.

Yeah I ordered some Super Skinks last week and he said they should be done in about 4 weeks. I thought I should get the Supers after seeing Troysterr crunch his rocker.

The whole area really hasn't changed much from when you were here, probably. Some parts of the state have grown a little bit, which isn't bad, at all but, for the most part, this place never changes. That's probably the one thing that keeps me here, actually. I love the wilderness. Unless you want to go to remote parts of AL or Canada, you just can't beat Wyoming.

I have had painting companies say great things about Marty's work (how well his welds are done). You may have to wait awhile for him to get your order, but darn it, you will get great quality equipment.

Why is it sticking out so far? Do you just have them sitting there?

Looks good, chetos! Can't wait to get mine - they're supposed to ship Monday :D

Jeepjeepster - They stick out because they are "step" sliders. You're supposed to be able to use them as side steps. ;)

You will just have to keep those rocks and logs towards the outside of the tires.

I have trouble not touching my pant leg on my regular skinks and they sit in close. I would always have to step on those because I would scrape them everytime. Of course, I am not tall.

I am only 5' 8" and the tupperware that comes with 05's and up get my pants dirty anyway. You can always step on them to get out.
