I've had my CRD over a year now, and this is the first time I've received this little perk of ownership -- Jeep magazine.
Essentially it is just a thick brochure for the company. I assume a number of other owners are getting this, too.

There's a little bit about a 3.0 litre CRD engine in the US 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I didn't find anything about any possible future diesel in a Wrangler. Hmmm, the maintenance section doesn't say anything about cleaning the MAP sensor. Or unplugging the MAF sensor. I guess it must be OK, then.

Is it just me or does anyone else agree:
1) The 2008 Liberty looks more like the Patriot than the old Liberty model.
2) There are too many models being produced -- and not enough defining characteristics delineating the models.

Sometimes when you don't have a very clear vision of the future, you try anything to see if it "sticks".

Watch the Jeep brand diminish in value as it continues its expansion towards medocrity.

OR

Watch them settle on a line with a Wrangler, a 4 door Unlimited (with a liberty-style indi front suspension street option) & GC. Hike the quality, price and exclusivity and succede. Oh, and they need to stop being pussoirs about diesels.

2 years ago they had the CRD Lib in Africa mag, and all the smooze. Also the first time I think I saw the lifted LOST rigs in the mag or maybe it was the next one.

When I received the Jeep mag I was excited but as I read it I became disappointed. I was expecting more than a commercial for Jeep products. How about a Camp Jeep write up, a preview of Jeep vehicles that may make it to SEMA, or a readers rigs section. I don't understand Jeep corporate thinking. They sold every CRD they built and if they would have worked the bugs out before they built them they would still be selling everyone of them. Let's not get started on the Compas.
