You could have kept the Libby, I think it would fit in the back seat.

Welcome to the club - I did that back in October. Mines an 06 Quad cab 4x2, and I've not looked back once. Best of luck to you, you will NOT be sorry.

Paul

I had them parked next to each other when I was moving stuff from one to the other. I looked up and took a few steps back and started laughing. the cab and front end are as big as the Liberty.

that's on the new 6.7L. that's really the main reason I wanted an 06 and later. I don't want to deal with all that emission equipment

I am confused by the people who hated their vehicles so much that they angrilly sold them with "no regrets" - yet they continue to return to this site and contibute negative commentary.

If you sold your CRD, thats cool. Why harbor that betterness and anger and keep returning to the site with the negative energy?

Simple. They are L>O>S>T> without us. :D Kind of like ghosts. No where to go until their life gets rewired. I wish the spooks would just go on to the afterlife. GO TOWARDS THE LIGHT!!!!

First of all, neither of the two L.O.S.T. Members above said they got rid of thier KJs in anger. They did not even state why they go rid of thier CRDs. Second, once L.O.S.T. ... always L.O.S.T.

Just be careful jumping to conclusions...sometimes people get new vehicles because they need a truck, or because a VW TDI gets better fuel economy or even because the KJ CRD is a stepping stone for some to move to a bigger diesel.

RF did state that he jumped ship because of concerns with the rig and dealer support. I don't know if he was mad or not. Fortunately for us, and you, we all didn't follow in his footsteps. LOST might look like a ghost town.

The CRD may return to L.O.S.T. ... just with a different owner. I've noticed several used CRD owners join the board in the past few weeks.

Not this one, but one of the recently departed CRD owners on other threads. My mistake.

If the Liberty doesn't return with a diesel option, it will be a ghost town. At any rate, don't be so sensitive. If you like your CRD...great, that's cool. If someone doesn't and decides to get rid of it, that's cool too.

I wonder how many people would have kept their CRD if they had a competent dealer/tech to work with?

Good question. Probably most. There will always be some that wouldn't but spending half a day waiting for the dealership to fix it, or wait weeks for parts, then drive away only for the problem to show back up, or worse, isn't a good thing. There is a good tech at my place. He won't give up until the problem is solved on the CRD or anything. He takes it personal.
