Threw on some black 22" American Racing RT-S this afternoon. Pictures are pretty bad, I'll have better ones when it gets nicer. Future plans are tinted tails and windows. I'd like to say it has came long way. I know this isn't the way the majority of yourlike your Jeeps, but just bare with me :D . I'm buying offroad tires for the stock rims during the winter months.

Flame away:

yeah very good taste in rims not too bling bling, clean and simple....kinda reminds me of a mini escalade in that rain picture, without the spare on it

Okay, I'll be first.

Not my bag of tea. To each his/her own though.

Just not sure why get a 4x4 and make it useless. Just get a 4x2. It is cheaper and gives you more money for more mods. What state are you in? Arizona, S.Dakota, or Utah plates?

I will say, glad you like your KJ and what you do to it. That is all that matters.

I'm from Connecticut. I got the 4x4 for the winters, it can get pretty rough. During the winter I pull the rims anyway, so I guess you can say these are my summer wheels.

I appreciate the comments guys.

Although mine will never wear anything close 20s/22s yours does look great. Thats the great thing here you can take one whichever direction you want to. The idea of a 4X4 with those on to some is worthless but like you said come wintertime you are there and ready to play. Keep up the good work and now debadge it for a super smooth look, esp the "Jeep" on the hood emblem!

Are there any holes to worry about on any of the badges? I'm afraid I might have a factory reject that they cleared over the badge leaving a impression when I take them off .

No holes only sticky stuff! I just used a hair dryer and heated them up some and off they came, some of that goo be gone or whatever it is and a couple good coats of wax and they were gone. To me taking the one off the hood smooths it off like a early 50s Chevy hood thats been nosed and decked, whoops............... dating myself  But then you have been around custom cars / trucks so you know what I mean, I am sure!

I love it, the back looks a little bare without the spare tire. Get another one for the spare. Looks hot.

Okay,I'll be the second.......Sorry RkyMntKJ,but the wheels are a little to "Bling" for a KJ .I must just be "Old School" cause I bought mine for the "Offroad Adventures" as well. Not trying to flame ya Donnie,It's just hard to imagine a Jeep never leaving the blacktop. Then again,as Tokyojoe said...."what ever blows your dress up"

I think 20's with a little more rubber would actually look more sporty than the 22's, 22's just a little too too much rim for the size of the vehicle.

Good choice of rim though.

The black rims make it tolerable for me. Chrome would be a bit too much.

In order for the KJ to look good as a lowrider you would have to chop the top, its just too tall from the doors up to pull it off.

I say go rallye style, subaru looking fogs in the front, ASFIR skids, nice red racing harnesses inside with an internal cage, KY libertys hood or some sort of low profile hood scoop. Dual exhaust. etc.

I come from a background that was fairly diverse. Raised with lowrider, hot rods, japanese sports cars and lots of trucks and Jeeps. I love it when people customize things to their taste and it is rare for me to knock something. Any how, I just wanted to say that if I had a lowrider KJ it would look like OzLtds Photochop fun fair ride. I still prefer it up in the air though.
