Does anyone have any experience with this El Cheepo set up? I figure I could get this in without even telling the wife :D Then later get the Frankie lift.

I wouldn't put it on my rig after the experience I had with the Teraflex Budget Boost (same design), but if you are looking for something very short term and don't care about ride quality then it could work.

I think you'd be very disappointed in it and your wife might forbid any further "experimenting." I'm not exactly sure where those spacers go but, I'm sure additional bumpstops or Al's Arms would be necessary to avoid ball joint contact. I learned that lesson the hard way. Do a lot of reading on here before you do anything. Some people have great success with spacer lifts but, they do require some additional work to work well.

If you looking for a spacer lift then I would recommend the Daystar lift.

I lifted mine for around $200, Rustys spacer and 2" conduit nuts in the front, HD OME springs in the back. I still have the stock shocks but the lift works great no complaints.

It's pretty false economy to put something in your rig that's not going to stay there. First you've spent 1/4-1/3 the cost of the lift you want and than the time/money to have it put in. You're making the right decision to wait and save for what you really want.
