Looks like I will be picking up my Frankenlift from All J's on the 14th of May. Would anyone be able to help me put this on? I'm getting a quote for labor from All J's just in case, but I'd like to do it with some of you guys so I can get the experience.

I live in an Apt in LA so it would have to be at someone's house if you don't mind. I can provide food, drinks and anything else. I also don't mind driving a few hours (I know that's a big number but I like driving :D ).

Thanks!

Justin

Another thought would be to see if Quinn will let us borrow the shop to install it on a Sat or Sun? That would cause us to have to "road test" it afterward though.  I think Gold Mtn trail is considered a "road"??

JJ, I am good with either idea. Mainly whatever works for you guys is best with me. I am free any of the weekends following the 14th.

I definatly like the idea of a "road" test afterwards. I sent Heather an email and mentioned that so I'll see what she says tomorrow.

What weekends are best for you all? I'm pretty flexible on my schedule. Sat May 19th might be busy for me if I can get tickets to a concert this weekend. Other than that, I'm open for anything.

Thanks!

Justin

The 19th, 20th is the only weekend I have open this month (AFAIK it is still open). IF that works out for the shop I can be there or we can still do it at my house the same weekend.

The 20th works for me, I'll see what Heather says about the shop availability. Either way though I am fine with doing it then. What time works best for everyone? I'll let you know when Heather emails me and see if we can secure the shop.

Fermill403, would the weekend of the 20th work for you?

I really appreciate the offers from everyone!

Thanks!

Justin

Wont' be able to use the shop. Heather said that they could lose their insurance policy if they let us. They get "suprise" inspectiosn from their insurance agency still.

JJ, looks like it'll have to be done at your place. The 20th is perfect for me. Also the struts will be pre-assembled so you won't have to worry about that. I can bring food, beer, drinks, whatever you all prefer. I really appreciate the help!!!

Let me know what you want me to bring and I'll bring it.

Justin

Ok, May 20th it is.

LIFT PARTY AT JJ's!!

I would like to get started around 0800-0830 so we can make sure to have time for any unforseen problems. (don't expect any, but just in case)

I will only be able to tackle this one lift but if anyone needs some service done w/ Amsoil products, I can and will help with that too. Just LMK what you need and I will make sure I have it on hand. We can do diffs, transfer case, oil changes.

Place:
43731 Rodin Ave
Lancaster, Ca. 93535

LMK if you need directions.

Lol, Thanks for the help guys. I'll try to be there somewhere between 0730-0800. Of course now that I say that there will be a major accident on I-5 just screwing me up

I'll bring some Brats, and burgers as well as buns. Ed, is there anything you prefer to drink? JJ said he's got water, but I can bring anything else.

JJ, I'll just use mapquest for directions :) Says it's about an hour drive so we'll see. Oh and JJ, you don't need to mail out the keychains and club goodies, I can pick those up and save you some postage. Unless you've already mailed them out.

Thanks again!

Justin

Come one! Come all! The more the merrier!

Wally, I am sure we can figure out a way to hack up a KJ fender and eat some brats while doing it! I should have a spare drop-in filter in stock by then.

I'll hold your goodies here for ya, save the club the postage.

Yup, picked up the lift and tires today.

Bringing brats, patato chips and dip and probably some chips and salsa. Anyone want anything else? Any drinks? JJ has the water.
