Specifically, synchromax for the 6 speed manual-anyone use it? Do you think it runs cooler than the factory synchromesh with smoother shifting?(I know JJ sells a synthetic amsoil that should be good. Is the royal purple as good?)
-How about the royal purple syn gear oil-anyone?
-Lastly, is their motor oil a type IV PAO, or a hydro cracked type III wanna be like castrol "synthetic"?
I would also like to hear from Redline users and your opinions on it as well...I am just wondering if I should go ahead and put in Amsoil(I hate using the mail) or if there is some good alternative. (I can get royal purple at my local pepboys)
Thanks for your insight in advance...

I use RoyalPurple in my diffs(75w-90) and have had no problems, been running it for 30,000 miles or so(still change the diffs every 12,000).RoyalPurple has molly in it which bonds to metal surfaces to help lubercate, good for gears but bad for the engine. You can tell it bonds to the metal parts,it's a royal pain to get that oilly feeling off the gears/diff cover even with brake cleaner.Redline is another good tranny/gear oil,ran redline ATF in my turbo350 in my '75 Cutlass and it ran really good(I beat the living piss out of that car and tranny to),and many off my friends use redline ATF in there drag cars as well with no problems.I'm like you about having to order my oils,if I was still in WA I would be using Amsoil due to it being sold at GI Joe's but nowhere hear in CO do they stock it so I use Mobil 1 in the engine,Royal Purple in the diffs, and Vavoline ATF+4 in the tranny/transfer.

     8) The only reason I have a problem with brown delievering is since I live in barracks on a military instilation is that they never deliever it,I always end up having to track down the stupid truck and getting it myself(fedex is way worse,I hate fedex!).That kind of hassle it would be easier to drive to Cali and pick it up from you myself(faster at least, and garrentied I'd get it to).
