... it would look like THIS one. :D I love the "Jeep green" color; reminds me of the Jeep Rescue.

I don't like all the chrome trim on the Limited, and I don't care for the leather seats. On the Jeep site, I priced out an '08 KK Sport w/auto trans, popular options package, tow group, and skid plate group for a little over $25K MSRP. Not a bad deal. Wouldn't let me get the sunroof for some reason. :?

The KK looks have grown on me. Has that old-time Cherokee look to it. Imagine if with roof basket, spare tire on top, 32" MT/Rs, and 3" lift. Not bad at all, but I wonder if the longer wheelbase would hurt the breakover angle of a lifted KK. ???

When are these supposed to be at dealerships? We're in the market for a bigger vehicle this summer (baby 3 due in October). If we can fit a booster seat, toddler seat, and infant carrier (all three) across the backseat, I will seriously consider buying one instead of a crossover or mini-van. A KK will run $10K less than the Mazda CX-9 I like. :P It would be cool to own both a KJ and KK, but if the KK can be wheeled, I might trade the KK for a used economy car and put the saved gas money into KK mods. Who knows....

Yeah, welcome to the club. I went for the exact same color when I was doing mine on the site. Mine was just at 30K, with all the options.
It is looking great, but unless I was getting a GREAT, SUPERB, UNREAL figure on my KJ at trading table, I wouldn't go get one just yet.
9 speakers? Sweet.

Hmmm. Jeep's published "hip room (rear)" measurement for the KK is 48.4 inches -- only one inch wider than my KJ. Don't know if that's going to cut it for my kids' safety hardware.

Who wants to bet the KK gets a 4" lift before we (KJ's) do?

I almost wish that is what the KJ looked like when it came out in 02. Not trying to take anything away from the KJ as I do like it (heck I own two of them!) but that is a good looking vehicle overall. I wouldn't even compare it to the KJ except it is a Liberty. It would have made a much nicer follow up vehicle to the XJ and probably would have gone over much better than the round KJ. (at least to the XJ and square Jeep fans) It is a shame you can't get one out-of-the-box w/ sfa though as I will Not buy another IFS vehicle to Mod w/ hard wheeling in mind........ UNLESS they can prove to me that it will accept at least 33" tires AND survive some wheeling abuse.

i took a good look under the KK at the NY Auto Show. The front upper arms look about 1.5 inches shorter than the KJ. Doesn't look all that good for lifting. the lower arm design doesn't look all that great either.
