I knew someone would bag me with that, but what the heck it was enought to give a fairly close measure.

Filled up in Des Moines Iowa on the way home, BP ULSD 10% Bio was 2.79 and with the tail wind all the way
from Kansas City at 75MPH mileage was 28.8 Same way down with a head wind, 75 got me 25, so the wind
plays a big part on mileage.

RUG $3.38/gal
B10 $2.63/gal
That is 75 cents difference. I wonder how this is going to effect diesel vehicle resale values. This kind of makes me want to replace the blown V6 engine in my dakota with a diesel instead of rebuilding it.

Just find a rolled or rear ended KJ as your donor vehicle. I'm looking foreward to seeing the finished product in DieselPower Magazine.

I was thinking about a diesel conversion for a Toyota when I decided to buy the CRD

This is focused at TLC's
http://cruisers.shoumatoffmedia.com/cummins.html

This using the Isuzu Diesel connecting to a GM transmission

Always does. I get about those numbers on summer fuel.

Latest mileage measurement is 23 mpg wife-city driving on 30% Bio. To be fair, I'm using a new measuring method with a LOT more room for error. I fill a diesel can to the 5 gallon mark (Accuracy? Plaagh!) with the ASTM Bio in my garage ($3.45 delivered), then go fill up with Diesel at the same Citgo ($2.99),and add in the 5 gallons.

Still seems to be what I was getting this winter on 100% winter diesel. But the appliance usage is different from day to day. Winter she blasts enough heat to dry your hair, summer she opens the sun roof and puts on the AC.
