I have light tan leather seats and I was wondering if there are good quality seat covers out there at a reasonable price, preferrably neoprene that wouldn't damage the leather or discolor it, but would protect it from mud, water and my dog.

I only need them for the front seats as I take my dog everywhere with me and I just fold the back ones down.

Anyone have advice, links, suggestions?

Thanks a bunches!

One thing with the paint though ... I think they feel "sticky" to me, if it's not dyed into the material to begin with. If there's a way to get color on to it without feeling/looking sticky and glossy, I'm all for it.

Krylon fusion paint for plastic does a great job on all plastic parts. no sticky feeling. Couple of coats of polyuretane got rid of that sticky feeling every place else.

I've painted a few interior pieces of my KJ to match the exterior, mainly the grill around the HVAC controlls and the long piece where the window defogger is. I clear coated them with model paint after painting them and they seemed to work just fine. No sticky feeling at all!

Take it easy ya'll,

ADAM

That Krylon fusion tip is welcom. I'm not going for a radical re-do but I would like to breakup a bit of the "all black" of the instrument panel.

Bill,

Does the fabric stain the light leather or rub off on it at all?
