 Post subject: cragar 397 center caps, on or off?

Location: Las Vegas, NV.
i have cragar 397 rims. the guy at the tire shop said i need to put the center caps on them. do i NEED to put them on? the center caps came with the rims but i don't have them on now. i was thinking about just putting one on the spare tire (easy install). what are you guys running?

They aren't necessary and most of the guys I've seen here don't have them. My plan when I get my cragars though was to find some of the center caps from the stock steel wheels and use those I've always thought they looked good on the 397's.
