Engine vapour problem with 05 CRD.
Can anyone suggest a fix or reason for excessive engine vapour streaming out from somewhere behind the pressure regulator (PCV). The CRD has had a Pro-Vent installed at 12,000 K's and the engine has been blowing fumes thru the hood vent since 40,000 K's and its now up to late 50's. Seems to be a lot of oily sludge dribbling down from this unit as well. Had 3 replacement PC units installed but no resolution of the vapour problem. I am taking it to the dealership again soon but don't just want another PC replacement. Advice re any similar problems and fix appreciated.
Also, had the F37 flash and TQ replacement, fuel ecomomy seems worse and wouldn't pull a greasy stick out ...up hills now.
