How bout having one? The member who signs up the most new members in, say 30 days or some set time gets something cool from the cafe press site.....

New member just has to mention name of member that signed them up in a post in a certain section.....

By the way, I just had 1000 LOST business cards (Staples special) :shock:

and 400 flyers printed (on the work copier of course)! :twisted:

"Find A New Friend"

The problem with doing it in contest format would be to make sure new members are KJ owners and will be active members to the KJ community. People could start telling friends and coworkers to just log on for the contest and not be KJ owners and not support the community. IMO, I don't think larger numbers, in general, is what we want on here. We should focus on KJ owners and active supporters.

Just have each current LOST member find one new KJ owner to join up and we will double in size. Not saying we can't find more, but make it a contest and being human, someone always has a habit of going overboard.

Even if those people do "sign up just for the numbers". They have to have a KJ so chances are pretty good they will stay. If they don't have one they won't become members, right? As far as "padding" the numbers goes anyone with a KJ is gonna post some info about it, possibly a requirement. It's gonna be pretty easy to tell who's a "poseur". Besides, our members wouldn't do such a thing for a t-shirt, now would they? :roll:

I don't know about a membership drive, but whenever I interact w/ a KJ owner I tell them about the site. I just tell them a little about what I know and then suggest they check out the site and decide for themselves.

I wonder if we can't increase membership by making it easier for new liberty owners to find the site and learn what it is all about. I just made a posting in another topic about search engine results for liberty, comments?
