Has any one been to tellico or uwharrie and if so, how was it. Did you have a lot of trouble with the kj or did it do pretty well. I ask this because i am some what close to these trail so just wanted to know how it performed on these hard trails.

KJ's do well at Uwharrie with some upgraded tires - stockers get pretty slick in the clay. Sometimes clearance can be an issue, but can (and has) been done.

My husband went to Tellico about 6 yrs ago, but it was with 35's and lockers on an early Bronco and there was still some stuff he didn't go on.

www.tellico4x4.com has some pretty in-depth trail ratings (ohv link)

KJ's are perfect for UNF... Just enjoy the ride and be careful!

KJ's are NOT good at Tellico. I made it through three trails with LOTS of yanking, dragging and puckered buns... Those "rocks" are the size of KJ's in many cases, and whoo whee, the obstacles!

I was making sales calls in Grundy... Hooked up with the DIRECTV rep who had a Rubicon, on the way home, I detoured to Tellico for the night. What a mess.

That's when I smashed the exhaust so bad I thought I was going to have to buy a Borla. Thankfully some BAH in the right spot made it saleable again...
