We are working on a valve that will replace the brake bleeder type valve that is now on the filter. Seems that many have had trouble stripping the thread or gettting it to seal. We are going to be doing something that we have already done on the GM Duramax. We replace the exsisting bleeder with a valve. The valve will have poly tubing on it so you can bleed it into a can for no mess or hook your Mity Vac pump up to it to bleed the filter without pumping the pump on the head. We will know this week if we can provide the parts to change it over.

There is going to be a "Cottage Industry" built around the Fuel Filter Head Unit...

Keep up the good improvements :D

Cool!

A valve makes more sense than a bleeder.

Already did that to mine. Works great, venting the filter is now a 30 second affair, no muss, no fuss, no leaks. Bleed screws belong on brakes.

Ok here it is, the job is finished, took about 15 minutes. The PVC line is now tucked up and out of the way. I lost no fuel what so ever with the install, but that may have been because I used a couple of fuel line clamp pliers to prevent any fuel loss.

Guys
This has been a big hit and it caught me with my pants down. We are sold out of what we had on hand. We will have more on Monday or Tuesday. We will have enough instock to handle all orders.

Thanks
Greg

Any pics from before the install? What I really want to know is how the adapter seals to the filter head. It looks to me like there is a copper washer between the adapter and the filter head.

I found the pics I was looking for on Greg's site. Like I said I was curious about how it sealed to the head and a picture is worth a thousand words. I forgot how nice Greg's site is now. Looks like another good product.

Ok, I had assumed you had been to the website and looked at the thing like everyone else. It is an easy job, it took me 15 minutes and I was on the phone the whole time talking with a friend long distance. So it I had just done the job and not been chatting on the phone, it would have been half that time.

Just installed the new bleed valve at the same time added the CAT filter. Any advice on what to do with the tubing? I looped it around the filter head for now. seems to keep it out of the way, Thought about removing it and putting it someplace safe, but I'm sure I would forget where I put it when I needed it.
