Sorry for the lame heading.

I have a Husky/German Shepherd mix and I was tired of his hair getting weaved into the back of the seats when they are down. I have a Dyson Animal vacuum that does a decent job of getting it out but I have to do it once a week to keep the inside half way clean.

Finally, I got my wife involved and we put together a pretty decent back cover that the hair doesn't get stuck in. I was looking for a snow camo blanket but had to settle with the jungle camo instead. It is attached with some black rope to the bag holder and head rest right now but I plan on using some bungie cable to keep it taught.

Yeah, we trimmed it to fit in just right. Then she hemmed the sides so they won't fray.

That's awesome! I'm going to have to domesticate my wife to get her to do something like that. Between my dalmatian, lab, and a friends husky the back of my Jeep looks like a wholly Mammoth (an ugly Wholly Mammoth).

That looks great. I've just been using a piece of grey carpet, but I really like the way it extends up the back of the seats. Be easy to clean too, I'll bet. Have you thought about using snap fasteners to hold it on? That's a great looking unit for sure.

I thought about that but I wasn't sure how to get the back on the seat since I cannot get behind the cloth. I need to do something with the corners because when the seats are up the corners sag down. Snap fasteners would be perfect if I could get them to work.

Oh yeah, very easy to clean. Just remove and throw in the washer!

velcro perhaps???? Scotch makes these nice velcro fasteners that have some super good sticky grip stuff so you can stick them just about anywhere....almost the next best thing to duct tape....(bites tongue)....

What about something like this, screwed or riveted into the plastic piece that houses the seat release handle (for lowering the rear seat)?

Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Boat-Com ... otohosting

I saw some black plastic ones on ebay that were less $ but danged if I can find them now...
