I'll be passing through your neck of the woods along I-70 going to Moab on July 14 and returning from said trip on July 20 and will need a place to stay along with my aunt and uncle. Could anyone suggest a decently cheap hotel or perhaps a decent campground in the area perhaps....THANKS!!!

There is a campground in Idaho Springs on I-70 that we want to check out, that we would love a scout out of. Rock Lizard may know the name of it.

I found a Quality Inn on the East side of town, that might work...We'll be arriving around 10pm so I think getting to a campground might be out of the question for the front leg of the trip. As for the return trip it might be possible...

Well it looks like I may reserve a room at the Motel 6 off Kipling St in Wheat Ridge on the 14. Might reserve the Quality Inn for the 20.

If anyone would be interested in meeting up for dinner (probably late on saturday the 14th) or breakfast (sunday the 15th around 7:30) let me know.

if you want a place to camp in the arapahoe national forest call visitor information services at the boulder ranger district at 303-541-2500. they are incredibly knowledgable and will give you some good info.

Thnaks quivvy for the # but I think we are gunna take a hotel. Last "nice" stop before we start camping for 5 days. But again if anyone would be interested in meeting up for dinner or breakfast let me know. I did a timetable for when I would get in to Denver and it seems it will be around 6pm so dinner should be more feasible then what I had previously thought. So lemme know...laters

We have a trail run planned for the 14th, and it will be an easy one, so some of us usually hit a restaurant after the trail before heading home. Maybe some of us could meet up with you for dinner. Just depends on when we come off the trail and when you actually arrive in Denver.

Well I plan on arriving in Denver around 6pm on the 14th. I'll be at the Motel 6 off of I-70 and Kipling St. with my aunt and uncle riding along with me.

I'll also be in Denver again on the return trip on Friday July 20th. I should get into Denver around the same time if not earlier except that I will be staying at a Quality Inn on hte East side of Denver at I-70 and Peoria Rd. So if anyone wants to meet on that evening that would be fine with me.

Hope to meet some of yas....laters

Well I'm thinking, if my timing is right on arrival, I would like to have a meetup around 7pm at The Cheshire Cat at Ralston Rd. and Yarrow St. It is about 3 miles from my hotel and seems to be a nice little microbrew joint. Hope to see some of you guys there if possible. I know i'll be meeting some other guys from an Expedition Group I am a member of that live in the area so come on out for some chit chat, food and drink. Take care!!!!

I'll update this as time gets closer and if I will ba able to make the time I've set for it...laters!!!
