OK, been keeping up with the trail reports on CO4x4, and Red Elephant is clear and dry, Bill Moore Lake is from the Red Elephant intersection down, and could be mostly clear above that within the next two weeks. No idea on Mill Creek, but I would assume it will be like Bill Moore in by the time we run it.

I think I am nearly 100% on this run. I have been wanting to do these ones forever. I probably won't have my ARB's in or the a-arms but these are not that difficult of trails anyway.

Just got confirmation Red Elephant and Mill Creek loop are completely clear, and Bill Moore is clear from the Red Elephant intersection down, so should be a fun day. It will be a long day, so I would suggest we start earlier, say meet at 0800 and hit the trail at 0830?

Can we get a solid head count on who's going?

I will, this is going to be a tight one for time since I won't get off work till about 6:40am,so I'll be rushing to make the 8am meet time in Idaho Springs. You want me to pick you up from your house or meet somewhere close to I-25 so I don't have to mess with Academy, your choice I can do either way.Trying to get a lady friend to go along but it's not looking to good. Oh what a wonderful night,up for another 24-hour duty!

At least you are up for a reason, I am just up because I can't sleep because of tomorrow's surgery...

Pick up at house would work best for me, that way I don't have to wake anyone else. I will still not be allowed to drive.

You would be okay on Bill Moore Lake but the others you would want a lift, good tires, and rock rails.Just talked to Marty and he siad from recent trail run up in that area it is kinda nasty so you may want to sit this one out.You are welcome to ride along if you want again, just trying to save you alot of grief and your KJ.

You could do one of two things, do Bill Moore Lake and park it and ride along with someone or just park and ride along the whole thing. Bill Moore Lake is in a big bowl and looks great. Some good picture taking.

Since we have never done the other trails and they are considered challenging, I would definitely suggest a ride along for those trails.

Count me in.

I know off topic a bit but if/when you guys finish I'll be getting in town and planning on having dinner at the Cheshire Cat Grill and Brewhouse around 7-730pm. Its off of 58th/Ralston and Yarrow in Arvada for those interested in possibly meeting up after the trails. Enjoy the trails and take some pics, laters!!!

Can you post an actual street address, so it is easier to mapquest it? Also, pm me your cell number so we can call you when we get off the trail to figure out the timing incase you or our group are running off schedule.
